Holland’s fourth Spider-Man film features the return of Punisher, Hulk, and Scorpion — and a suit with serious classic vibes.
Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is back — and he’s got a new look.
On Saturday, Sony released a short video featuring Spider-Man star Tom Holland in costume, warming up before stepping toward the camera and asking, “We ready?” The clip gave fans their first full look at Holland’s new suit for the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to hit theaters in 2026.
The suit features a larger spider emblem on the chest and a sleeker design reminiscent of the versions worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in their respective Spider-Man trilogies. A teaser image of the suit was first shared on Friday, sparking buzz across social media.
Also confirmed: production has officially begun in England.
What’s New in ‘Brand New Day’
This marks Holland’s fourth standalone outing as the web-slinger, following 2021’s No Way Home, which ended with Peter Parker erased from the memories of everyone who knew him — including MJ (Zendaya) and Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon).
The film brings back several major characters from the Marvel Universe:
- Jon Bernthal returns as the Punisher, making his first big-screen appearance as the gritty vigilante after previously starring in the Netflix series.
- Mark Ruffalo reprises his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, as confirmed Friday.
- Michael Mando also returns as the Scorpion, last seen in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), with a script from Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the writing duo behind No Way Home.
With the new suit reveal and cameras now rolling, fans can expect more updates soon as Spider-Man swings back into action — with higher stakes, old allies, and new enemies.
