The Grammy-winning artist and Oscar-winning filmmaker are teaming up on a mysterious new collaboration.
At her sold-out Manchester concert Saturday night, Billie Eilish surprised fans with a major announcement: she’s working on a 3D project with legendary filmmaker James Cameron.
“So, you might’ve noticed there are more cameras than usual in here,” Eilish told the crowd. “I can’t say too much, but I can say I’m working on something very, very special with someone named James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D.”
The “What Was I Made For?” singer went on to hint that the four Manchester shows would play a central role in the project. “You and me—we’re part of a thing I’m making with him,” she continued. “He’s in the audience somewhere tonight, just so you know. So don’t mind that… and yes, I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for the next four days.”
While no further details have been shared, the pairing of Eilish’s atmospheric music and Cameron’s cinematic expertise (Avatar, Titanic, Terminator) is already generating buzz across both fanbases.
