“K-Culture Night at Academy Museum with KCON” to Honor K-Pop Festival’s 13th Anniversary and CJ ENM’s 30-Year Legacy
The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is teaming up with Korean entertainment powerhouse CJ ENM to host a vibrant cultural event spotlighting the global influence of Korean content.
Titled “K-Culture Night at Academy Museum with KCON,” the celebration will take place on July 31 at the museum’s David Geffen Theater, just days before the annual KCON festival. The event marks two milestones: KCON’s 13th anniversary and CJ ENM’s 30th year in the entertainment industry.
Part of a three-year partnership between the Academy Museum and CJ ENM, the evening promises star-studded appearances and performances from leading figures in K-pop and Korean entertainment. Korean-American singer Eric Nam will host the event, joined by dancer Choi Hojong, rapper Lee Youngji, boy band P1Harmony, and J-pop girl group Is:sue. Actor Yim Siwan, best known for his role in Squid Game, will also appear.
All participating artists are slated to perform at KCON over the weekend, further tying together the evening’s celebration of Korean pop culture and global fan engagement.
