As buzz continues to build around who will take on the mantle of James Bond in the next chapter of the iconic franchise, Spider-Man star Tom Holland is finally addressing the speculation.
In a recent interview with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, Holland was asked directly about the persistent rumors linking him to the coveted 007 role. His response was coy but telling: “There’s speculation at the moment. We’ll keep it to a minimum for now. We’ll get there one day,” he said with a smile.
While Amazon MGM Studios has yet to announce the next Bond, the upcoming film is already generating excitement. With Dune director Denis Villeneuve attached to direct and Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight writing the screenplay, the bar is set high for whoever steps into the tuxedo.
When asked about the potential of playing Bond, Holland didn’t deny his interest. “It’s the pinnacle of working in our industry,” he admitted, acknowledging the legacy and prestige of the role.
For now, Holland is preparing to reprise his role as Peter Parker in the fourth Spider-Man film, but his latest comments suggest that if the opportunity to become 007 arises, he just might take the shot.
