David Dastmalchian Expands Comic Book Career With Chilling New Series ‘The Accessories’
Actor and writer David Dastmalchian is returning to the world of comics with a brand-new horror mini-series titled The Accessories, set to be published by emerging genre label Panick Entertainment in 2026.
Dastmalchian, known for his roles in The Life of Chuck and Dexter: Resurrection, co-created the five-issue series alongside longtime collaborator Leah Kirkpatrick, with art by Patrick Piazzalunga. The project will be officially unveiled during Dastmalchian’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con this Saturday.
Panick Entertainment, a rising force in horror and science fiction publishing, was launched last year by a group of veteran creatives from the entertainment and comic book industries — including alumni from DC Comics. The Accessories marks another step in Dastmalchian’s growing presence in the comic space, following his previous successes with titles like Count Crowley.
Further details on the storyline and release date are expected to be announced during the Comic-Con presentation.
