DC Studios is moving forward with a new Wonder Woman film, entering talks with screenwriter Ana Nogueira to develop the script.
Nogueira, already a rising creative force at the studio, is behind the script for next summer’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow and is also writing the upcoming live-action Teen Titans film. She has an ongoing blind deal with Warner Bros., signaling the studio’s strong confidence in her vision for the DC Universe.
Wonder Woman is one of DC’s most iconic characters, forming the legendary “Trinity” alongside Superman and Batman. The character was last portrayed by Gal Gadot in the 2017 global hit Wonder Woman, which earned $822 million worldwide and became a landmark in female-led superhero films. Gadot reprised the role in Wonder Woman 1984, as well as ensemble films like Justice League, The Flash, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
